Please see our size guide under the pricing and sizes section which will give you as close as possible measurement. Unless you are limited on space, we recommend to try and go for a slightly larger skip as you will be surprised at how quickly your skip will fill up.
Skips should be used to dispose of inert, non-hazardous waste i.e wood, bricks, metal, earth, household furniture, chairs, sofas etc.
We are unable to accept asbestos, fridges, fridge freezers, gas bottles and tyres. If you have any queries about these items please contact our offices where a member of the team would be happy to assist you.
Yes, we provide skip hire, recycling and waste services to households and businesses including builders and contractors. Please contact us for more information.
Skips must be level loaded, they must not be filled above the edge of the skip. This is to ensure safe transportation. It is illegal to overfill a skip.
If it is on private property, then you can put the skip virtually anywhere the lorry can reach. If the skip is going to be placed on the road then we will need space for the lorry to park in order to drop the skip directly behind it.
If the skip is going on the public highway then yes. If a permit cannot be obtained and no private land is available then we can offer a Wait and Load service.
We can offer same day delivery on our skips!
Our working hours are;
7:30am – 6pm Monday to Friday
Saturday 8am – 1pm
Sunday closed – appointment only
Skips can be kept for up to 4 weeks, although if you need to keep your skip for longer please call the office to discuss your needs. If any questions haven’t been answered please call 01708 837 051.
